Books Signings for WHEN FALCONS FALL
Release date is one week from today! (And I'm wondering, Did no one look at the calendar and realize 1 March also just happens to be Super Tuesday?)
No grand book signing tour this year, but I do have a few signings lined up.
First up is a signing here in New Orleans at the Garden District Book Shop, 2727 Prytania Street, at 1:00 pm on Saturday, 5 March.
And then on 19 March I'll be doing a signing in Houston at Murder by the Book, 2342 Bissonnet. That'll be at 4:30 pm.
On May 7th, I'll be in Phoenix, Arizona, for a small conference at The Poisoned Pen. More about that later.
And then in September I'll be at the Bouchercon Conference here in New Orleans. There will be a signing associated with that, but nothing has been finalized yet.
I think I mentioned before that WHEN FALCONS FALL takes place entirely outside London--far from London, in fact. It makes for an interesting and different dynamic.

Hi. Love your books!😊 Will this be available on Kindle? Sorry if this has already been asked.
Oldcelt, Thank you! It will be available on Kindle and in all other ebook formats on 1 March in the States. But for reasons known only to the gods there will be a delay in Britain, Australia, and New Zealand.
A vacation to Idaho could include a book signing near me...just a thought that your publisher would no doubt laugh at. But a girl can try - right? Have fun at those signings - I'm only a little jealous.
Thanks so much! Will have to be patient 😞
candy i hope you dont live anywhere near those hurricanes that hit the area. Prayers for all.Best Ali.
Oh my gosh, I'm SOOOO excited. I have both Kindle and book on order, but I always also put on hold at all my local libraries (county and city) as I know it helps your book sales. Guess what notice I just got. Falcons is sitting waiting for me TODAY at Seattle Public Library. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh. Whoooo hooo. I can't pick up today, but will definitely pick up tomorrow. Then the struggle will be to make it last. Sabena
OH gosh - so sorry. Forgot to say stay safe with all the hurricanes hitting down there. (My excitement overtook me). Sabena
I have two books arriving on the first. Voting is relatively easy after the lunchtime rush. The books may have to be the consolation prize. They are certainly more enjoyable this the current political season.
I have a "foreigner" question. What is Super Tuesday? I haven't heard of that before.
You're coming to Houston again! I think I can make that date.
I am so excited to read this book. I can't wait to see how Sebastian fares without immediate access to Gibson and Lovejoy, the people who sort of comprise his support network in the solving of mysteries. Thank goodness at least he'll have Hero!
Veronica
OK, I'm about 1/3 into it. Just wonderful so far. Two totally little things - I LOVED the dedication. Made me smile to think of them and I loved Simon has a stuffed lamb (such a throw away line and yet, also made me smile as my daughter did too when she was a little baby). Sabena
OK, yes, I've finished. It was amazing. There was one laugh out loud moment where a certain character tells Sebastian he wouldn't understand how he felt. Just a brilliant comment/exchange. I'll keep a more thorough review and all other comments about my favorite parts until others have had a chance to read. Congrats, Candy. Another winner. Sabena
Lynne, maybe someday!
Ali, yeah, I was actually hiding in the closet at one point! But we were lucky. The devastation is just awful.
Sabena, thank you. And since the libraries do tend to get them early, you'll be able to jump the gun!
Mary, election years area always hard on my writing since I'm a political junkie, but this year!
Suzanne, the US has a very strange primary system in which the states set many of their own rules and vote at different times. By the end of February, four relatively states will have voted, but on Tuesday, 12 states--some very large--vote, and it can make or break campaigns.
Veronica, I look forward to seeing you!
Sabena, yes, this was my kitten book, so it only seemed right to dedicate it to my poor lost babies.
And wow, that was fast! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks Candy. You are right, that is really strange.
I'm so excited that I'll be in Houston for your signing since we are taking our son to visit Rice over spring break. Since I live just outside of Philadelphia, I've never been anywhere near any of your signings. Really looking forward to it, as I've loved all of the books in the series. Any suggestions on where to go in Houston?
Take care,
Jennifer
Jennifer, that's great! I must admit that I haven't REALLY been to Houston in 30 years, because when I go for signings I tend to fly in and out or drive through. My favorite part of visiting Houston on my one real trip was Galveston, but I don't know what that's like since the hurricane a few years ago. Maybe someone else has some recommendations?
What a great new! I just understood that release was actually yesterday!
