Headin' for High Ground

I've been thinking about you today, Candy. Safe travels and fingers crossed for an easy return to normal soon. Hugs from Denver, K.

Thanks, K. Projections have the storm passing to our west, which will spare New Orleans the worst but be terrible for Acadiana.

Definitely worrisome. Lana and I are still deciding whether to ride it out here. We're both leaning toward staying but I heard this morning it is a category 3.

btw, I still don't get your posts loaded into my google reader. The feed still isn't working.

The world is watching the news and forecasts with awful fascination. Let's hope it's not back to square one for the hard work that has been done since Katrina.

Look after yourselves, Candy, Charles and other friends in your area.

Having just come through Fay in the panhandle of Florida, I send you aware blessings and good thoughts. Your writing brings so much pleasure in such an elegant way. Thank you, and may you, yours and all our friends around the Gulf be safe and well.
