Just read my first book of yours (out of synch!) "Why Mermaids Sing". Wow. Absolutely loved it and ignored my husband & children for the day and 1/2 that it took me to consume it. So excited to read your others!
Thanks, Orannia; and yes, SodaPop is doing great. Someone had abandoned him along with a couple of goats on a golf course. But he was obviously well-loved because he's a sweetheart who loves to be petted and cuddled. He's only 2 years old and now has a home for life.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Candy!
ReplyDeleteSome fellow ex-pats hosted a Thanksgiving party last night, and I ended up hand-selling your St. Cyr books. Because that's how I roll... :)
That Donkey looks like he could talk.
ReplyDeleteCandice (plaintively)
ReplyDeleteOne does not say "helping Smantha and I put up her tree..."
(I used to be a teacher of English, of course.)

ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving from your newest fan :-)
Steve, thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteCharles, he's a real cutie, isn't he?
Diane, Oh, dear! I can't believe I wrote that! That's what I get for dashing off a post on my way out the door.
Dana, I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it!
A belated Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours :)
ReplyDeleteAnd donkeys are so cute! I hope SodaPop is doing well?
