**

Finally, finally, I have finished The Babylonian Codex. This book feels as if it's taken me forever to write. But now it's done and I can get back to work on Where Shadows Dance, the next book in the Sebastian St. Cyr series. The thrillers are fun, but I do miss Sebastian!

I'll be doing a booksigning for What Remains of Heaven tomorrow, Novemeber 7th, at the Garden District Bookstore in New Orleans, from 1-3. Hope to see you there if you're in the area.

And here, for smiles, is a picture of little Roscoe...

  1. Awwwwwwww what a sweet cutie! Is this the same kitten that was photographed against a dark background in a previous blog post?

  2. Yep, they're both Roscoe. Roscoe is a very sweet kitty looking for a new home!

  3. Roscoe is a cutie. Lana has an arts thing most of the day today but I will get your books when you and Steve sign at the Tale of Two sisters.

  5. Congratulations on finishing Codex! And if I was anywhere near your neck of the woods, Roscoe could totally join my wee Unholy Army of the Night!

  6. Thanks, Steve; I don't think I've ever been so glad to finish a book. It's going to be really, really hard to let Roscoe go--ditto Peanut, Whiskies, and Peaches (I did NOT name them.) But we have way, way to many cats, and Huckleberry is one of those children who does not play well with others.

  7. Congrats on finishing the book! I hope you had a little bit of down time, even if just a snippet, to relax.

    And Roscoe is gorgeous!

  8. Not yet, Orannia, but soon. My sister is coming this week to take care of my mom so Steve and I can get away for a four day weekend. But I'm taking my Where Shadows Dance notes with me.

  9. I just finished reading "What Remains of Heaven." I was happy to see that you are developing the relationship between Sabastian and Miss Jarvis. I think the characters fit well together.
