They agreed it had flaws, but still watched it for the "fun." Steve and Charles, I think you're right--too many big egos spoiled the broth. I read a quote from Lucas saying people were going to complain about it for the same reasons they complained about the new Star Wars series--they just weren't willing to go with something new. And I thought, No! It's because what worked in the old is missing from the new.cs harrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13708705800818667923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27125272.post-48032958566375944762008-06-10T01:04:00.000-05:002008-06-10T01:04:00.000-05:00I will still probably watch this when it comes on ...I will still probably watch this when it comes on PPV, but sounds like it definitely could have used some sharpening. As for Hollywood having 20 years, the probablem is that means a group of people had 20 years to suck all the juice out of it and turn it into a conglomerate affair.Charles Gramlichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02052592247572253641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27125272.post-27375893074021079812008-06-09T20:13:00.000-05:002008-06-09T20:13:00.000-05:00Thanks for the heads up. I'm also annoyed with the whole "crystal skull" premise. The "real life" crystal skulls were proven to be hoaxes decades ago, but now this movie has all kinds of people all like, "Wow...Aren't they an amazing mystery?" No...they're fraudulent. Read a book!Lana Gramlichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06975996208260144558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27125272.post-90174511659923402202008-06-09T16:02:00.000-05:002008-06-09T16:02:00.000-05:00Nicely put. Too many treatments? Too bound by the earlier work? Tight deadlines from the studio?

Hmm.Steve Malleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17561234111786788616noreply@blogger.com
